This is just a sample of how we approach a roof. You will notice from the pictures we do the following:
This house was only 1700sq ft...so yes, I did have a large crew....that's the way I roll.
1. Remove the old roofing, felt paper, old vents and boots and anything else that we agreed we would replace.
2. We also take time to inspect the wood, to replace where it needs (as agreed by you and I).
3. We also prep the wood deck by cleaning it of nails and debris before putting the new paper on.
4. We then install the new paper and start snapping lines to ensure a straight nicely installed appearance.
5. You will notice cleanup is being done as we are working.
This Particular House was for a homeowner who lived out of state.....he rents this house out. He was concerned about getting the work done by someone who would actually do what they said because he would not be there to look. I was in contact with him for the start to finish and gave him the comfort of knowing he was in good hands......this was a basic 3 tab 25yr shingle he wanted for his rental. This roof only took from 7am until 11:30am, I always bring the man power to get it done for my homeowners as I know the weather is always a threat and this is my commitment to you too.
When we left that morning, I was the last one on the roof (as always to check over 1 more time) and I was the last one to look at the yard 1 more time before I pulled away for any last minute nails, wrappers or whatever was overlooked.
The Homeowner emailed me this:
Hey Jim,
Thanks for the invoice. Anna will send you a check tomorrow for the total. I
really appreciate your approach and the way you go about your business. I was
especially pleased with the quantity and quality of the pictures you took. It
provides transparency to what you are doing and a lot of peace of mind to us
being so far away, thanks!
Best,
Greg
I get these all the time......I pride myself on doing things the way I would want it done to me. This is why.....I am on the job, not too many owners can say that.
