This is a very durable cool roof (high sun reflectivity) and is where a lot of new commercial roofs are heading. The days of the old black, tar and gravel, rolled roofing....those days are gone. Sooner or later they wont be able to sell that product. Mostly all the roofs being designed now are going to be green (enviromentally speaking) cool roofs (high sun reflectivity). Most states will be adopting California's title 24, which means all roofs will be green and cool.
